SaydiVoice Terms of Service: a complete guide for users
When you use the SaydiVoice text-to-speech service, understanding the terms of service tells you what you may do, what you must not do, and who owns what you create. This guide summarises the whole agreement in plain language and highlights the points that matter most.
What is SaydiVoice?
SaydiVoice is an AI voice service operated by Saydi AI at voice.saydi.ai. It turns written text into natural speech, clones a reusable voice from a short recording, designs new voices from a description, and translates or dubs audio and video.
There is a free tier you can use immediately, plus paid plans that raise the character allowance for larger workloads. By accessing and using the service you are taken to have accepted and agreed to comply with the terms published by Saydi AI.
Why read the terms before you start?
The terms are not just paperwork. For an AI voice service they answer four practical questions you will run into:
- What may I do with the audio I generate? Can it go into monetised video, advertising, podcasts or a product I sell to clients?
- Whose voice may I clone? My own, or someone else's with permission — and how is that permission recorded?
- How is my data handled? Is the text and audio I upload stored, shared or used to train AI models?
- What happens if something goes wrong? Technical faults, refunds, complaints and disputes all have a defined route.
Knowing these four answers protects you legally and protects your clients, especially when AI-generated content is published publicly.
The key concepts you need
The terms use some legal vocabulary. Four concepts are enough to follow the rest:
Input data and output data
Input data is what you give the system: text you type, document files, voice samples, subtitles, uploaded video or audio. Output data is what SaydiVoice produces from it — MP3 or WAV files, or a dubbed video.
Data subject
The individual the personal data relates to. If you upload a recording of someone's voice to clone it, that person is the data subject — and their legal rights still apply even though you performed the upload.
Data controller
The organisation that decides the purposes and means of processing. For data you upload to SaydiVoice, you are the controller: you decide what it is for.
Data processor
The organisation that processes data on the controller's behalf. Saydi AI acts as the processor of your input data and processes it only to provide the service.
What Saydi AI commits to
Personal data protection. Saydi AI collects only what is needed to create an account, run the service and support customers. We do not sell personal data and do not share it with third parties beyond what is needed to deliver the service or what the law requires. Voice-cloning samples and the audio you generate are not used to train our AI models.
Monitoring and enforcement. Saydi AI may use automated detection and alerting to block unlawful content. Where we detect a violation we may refuse to process content, remove it, suspend or terminate access, and report to the competent authority where the law requires it.
Service quality. We work to keep the service stable and accurate but do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. AI output can be wrong on abbreviations, proper nouns, figures and specialist terms — always review before publishing.
What you must comply with
Age and capacity: you must be at least 16 and have full legal capacity. Anyone under 16 may use the service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Accounts: the service may only be used through Saydi AI's official channels. Keep your credentials confidential, do not share your account, and accept responsibility for all activity under it.
Content: you agree to follow the law on online content and you are solely responsible for your input data and the purposes you use output data for. You must not generate unlawful content, impersonate a person or organisation, infringe intellectual property or privacy, scan or damage the infrastructure, or circumvent quotas and anti-abuse controls.
Other people's personal data: when you process someone else's data through SaydiVoice you must ensure they have consented, tell us promptly if they withdraw consent, and accept responsibility for any resulting claim.
Voice cloning: the single most important rule
This is where AI voice services most often go wrong, and the SaydiVoice terms are explicit:
- Clone a voice only when you own it or hold clear permission from its owner, ideally in writing or another durable form.
- Be able to evidence that permission if Saydi AI or a competent authority asks.
- Never impersonate or put words in someone's mouth they never said, especially in sensitive areas such as news, politics, finance, health and law.
- Say when a voice is synthetic wherever listeners could believe it is a real person.
Rights in a cloned voice belong to the subject of that voice, not to Saydi AI. You are ultimately responsible if a cloned voice is challenged.
Copyright: who owns the audio you generate?
Yours: you retain rights in the input data you provide. For output data you receive a non-exclusive licence covering personal and commercial use — video, podcasts, advertising, learning material, digital products — as long as you comply with the terms.
Saydi AI's: the website, interface, source code, model technology, the Saydi and SaydiVoice marks, and every voice in the built-in library, including voices the system designs automatically.
You may not: resell or sublicense the SaydiVoice voice library as a standalone product, use generated audio to train a competing voice model, or claim ownership of the technology that produced it.
Saydi AI warrants that output data you generate with built-in library voices does not infringe any third party's intellectual property rights.
Payment, plans and refunds
The free tier has a limited allowance; paid plans raise the monthly allowance and unused allowance does not roll over automatically. Transactions are processed by authorised payment partners, and Saydi AI does not store card numbers or sensitive payment details on its servers.
Refunds: once payment is complete, Saydi AI has no obligation to refund the value of a plan, except where the law requires it or where the payment policy applying to your transaction provides otherwise. Allowance already consumed is not refundable.
If something breaks: contact customer support and we will investigate and resolve it. You can also cancel a recurring plan at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until the period you paid for ends.
The terms can change — what to watch
Saydi AI may change these terms at any time, provided the change does not breach applicable law or remove rights you have already lawfully acquired. Changes are published on the terms page with a new update date and take effect when posted unless a different effective date is stated.
For material changes affecting your rights or obligations we give notice by registered email or in-app notification before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
If you use SaydiVoice regularly, note the update date at the top of the terms page and re-read it when we announce a change.
How disputes are resolved
The terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. If a dispute arises, the parties first attempt good-faith negotiation within 30 days of one party giving the other written notice.
If negotiation fails, the dispute goes to the competent People's Court in Hanoi. The court's judgment is final and binding on both parties.
Most issues never get that far — start with our contact page.

Frequently asked questions about the SaydiVoice terms
Is SaydiVoice free?
Yes. SaydiVoice has a free tier you can use immediately — 50,000 characters a month — and no watermark. The free tier has a limited allowance; paid plans raise the monthly character allowance for larger workloads.
Can I use the generated audio commercially?
Yes. Output data comes with a non-exclusive licence for personal and commercial use, including video, podcasts, advertising, learning material and digital products, as long as you comply with local law and the terms of service.
Can I clone someone else's voice?
Only if you own the voice or hold clear permission from its owner, recorded in writing or an equivalent durable form, and you must be able to evidence that permission on request. Using a cloned voice to impersonate or defraud is prohibited.
Does SaydiVoice use my data to train AI?
No. Voice-cloning samples and the audio you generate are not used to train Saydi AI's models. You are the controller of your input data; Saydi AI processes it as a processor and only to provide the service to you.
Can I get a refund after paying for a plan?
Once payment is complete, Saydi AI has no obligation to refund the value of a plan, except where the law requires it or the payment policy applying to your transaction provides otherwise. Allowance already consumed is not refundable. If a technical fault blocks you, contact support and we will resolve it.
Do I have to disclose that audio is AI-generated?
When you publish AI-generated content publicly you must comply with applicable AI-labelling rules, the policy of the platform you publish on, and reasonable transparency practice — including making clear a voice is synthetic where listeners could otherwise believe it is a real person.
Can someone under 16 use SaydiVoice?
You must be at least 16 years old and have full legal capacity to use the service. Anyone under 16 may use it only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for that minor's activity.
